Chris is a legal practitioner, specialising in insurance and corporate law. Chris completed his degree at the University of Tasmania and went on to work with Zeeman Kable and Page for 11 years before setting up his private practice in 1995. Chris was appointed Chairman of St. Luke’s Private Hospital in 1991 until it was sold to Calvary Healthcare in 2004. He has been Chairman of St.LukesHealth for the past 10 years. Chris’ strong focus on community has seen him chair the Launceston Steiner School and Springfield Fisheries, vice chair of the Care for Africa Foundation as well as being a director for private start-up companies.   He is currently independent Chairman of the Tasmanian Salmonid Industry having been so for 10 years. Chris and his wife have three children and spend their time operating the Lalla Flower Farm.

Melissa Lukianenko

Mel has worked in the ICT industry for about 25 years and has held many senior roles including chief information officer at Aurora Energy and ICT leader at TasNetworks.

Mel has worked in the ICT industry for about 25 years and has held many senior roles including chief information officer at Aurora Energy and ICT leader at TasNetworks. IN 2016 she started her own ICT Advisory and Project consultancy business in Hobart called Ignite Projects Services. Mel has extensive experience in developing and implementing ICT strategies, along with a passion for leading and developing people and elevating organisational culture. Mel was awarded Outstanding Contribution by a Woman in ICT by TASICT for her dedication to the industry. As a director of St.LukesHealth, Mel has been a member of the Risk Committee, the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Executive and Nomination Committee.

Martin Rees

Martin was managing partner of KPMG in Tasmania for 20 years and in that role provided strategic consulting services to a number of private health insurers around Australia.

Martin was managing partner of KPMG in Tasmania for 20 years and in that role provided strategic consulting services to a number of private health insurers around Australia.  Since retiring early from KPMG, Martin has been actively involved in assisting St.LukesHealth with its personal health record project and joint venture investments.
Martin is currently acting as an executive director on a challenging commercialisation project in the aquaculture industry.  He has also been appointed to director roles with large Tasmanian private companies and is developing his own vineyard and wine business. Martin is currently chairman of St Giles Society and Wine Tasmania.

Peter runs his own Management Consultant company and was formerly with KPMG providing strategic, governance and executive recruitment services.

Peter runs his own Management Consultant company and was formerly with KPMG providing strategic, governance and executive recruitment services. He is a past Director/Member on several Boards at Tasmanian and National levels including the Institute of Management Consultants, Heart Foundation and St Michael’s Collegiate school. He is a past District Governor of Rotary Tasmania and currently Chair of the Local Government Shared Services.

Dr Jerome Muir Wilson is a practising General Practitioner at the Launceston Health Hub which he founded with his wife Dr Jaclyn O’Keefe in 2014.

Dr Jerome Muir Wilson is a practising General Practitioner at the Launceston Health Hub which he founded with his wife Dr Jaclyn O’Keefe in 2014. Jerome is passionate about innovative models of care that are patient focused and sustainable.  Jerome is also on the board of General Practice Training Tasmania further helping shape the future of Tasmania’s health professionals.  These insights at the board table ensures St.LukesHealth members receive the right care, in the right place at the right time with peace of mind.

Ian Huett

Ian has been a rural community pharmacist since 1971 having graduated from the School of Pharmacy in Hobart in 1970 and operates a cash claims centre for St.LukesHealth at his pharmacy.

Ian has been a rural community pharmacist since 1971 having graduated from the School of Pharmacy in Hobart in 1970 and operates a cash claims centre for St.LukesHealth at his pharmacy. Ian has always had a strong commitment to the community, has been vice-chairman of St Mark’s Homes, director of Clifford Craig Medical Research Trust, Chairman of Meander Valley Enterprise Centre, founding director of Giant Steps Tasmania, and director of St Luke’s Private Hospital.  He served on the board of Rotary Club of Deloraine for 20 years and been a member for 46 years. He served on the Australian Pharmacy Council, Chair of Pharmacy Board of Tasmania then the Pharmacy Board of Australia for 13 years.  He was awarded a Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship, an Australia Day Award and a Tasmania Day Community Service Award in recognition of his contribution to the pharmaceutical profession and community service. He is currently a director of Healthcare Software, deputy chair of Giant Steps, and consultant to Sigma Healthcare. Ian and his wife Judith have four children and 9 grandchildren.

Anita was pleased to join the Board of St.LukesHealth in April 2019 after resigning as the exclusive distributor of an award-winning international baby brand across Australia and New Zealand. A company founder and sales and marketing director, Anita built the brand from scratch across traditional and digital media to become a well-known parenting essential and top-selling ‘destination product’.
 
With 15 years of on-the-ground brand building experience, Anita brings a consumer-focused awareness to the board table. As a mum of four and engaged in local community groups, Anita is naturally interested in the wellbeing of families and improving long-term health outcomes for Tasmanians.
 
A former architect prior to her brand building ventures, Anita now divides her time between residential renovations and growing a new e-commerce company specialising in premium nursery brands.
 
When the work pedal is not down, Anita sometimes enjoys hiding away from her kids and throwing clay on pottery wheels…and hoping for the best!
