Black Friday special offer terms and conditions
Offer Terms and Conditions – “Online Offer”.
1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Online Offer” (“Offer”).
2. The Promoter of the Offer is St Luke’s Medical and Hospital Benefits Association ABN 81 009 479 618, of 93 Cimitiere Street, Launceston, TAS 7250 (“Promoter” or “St Lukes”).
3. The Offer commences at 12:00am AEDT on 18 November 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 13 December 2024 (“Offer Period”).
4. To be eligible for the Offer, members must:
a. have successfully joined and take out an Eligible Product with a policy start date within the Offer Period;
b. be 18 years or over as at the date of joining;
c. not have held St Lukes cover in the previous 12 months (excluding a dependant coming off their parent’s policy);
d. have paid their first months’ premium at the time of join; and
e. be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and is eligible for Medicare.
(“Eligible Member”)
5. An Eligible Member will receive 6 weeks free off the premium for their Eligible Product and 2, 3 and 6 month waiting periods waived on Extras as part of this Offer and will be applied to the policy after the first months premium has been processed (”Offer Value”).
6. General Treatment only products are excluded from the Offer.
7. A code of the Promoter’s choosing may be required in order to claim the Offer.
8. The Offer cannot be combined with any other offer.
9. Application of Offer Value:
a. Subject to all eligibility criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions, the Offer Value will be applied to an Eligible Members’ Eligible Product in accordance with this clause 6.
b. The Offer Amount is applied as a one-off payment to the value of 6 weeks premium and will be applied to the policy after the first months premium has been paid.
c. The Offer Value is not transferable or exchangeable.
d. The Offer Amount cannot be redeemed as cash.
10. Employees of the Promoter are not eligible for the Offer, this includes adding a partner/spouse or dependant to an employee’s cover.
11. Employees of Salveo Healthcare Limited (ACN 645 287 583) (“Salveo”) are not eligible for the Offer, this includes adding a partner/spouse or dependant to a Salveo employee’s cover.
12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the valid membership of the new member (including a member’s identity, age and place of residence) and to exclude any new memberships that are not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
13. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a new member, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the new member.
14. Subject to any rights any person has under any laws, the Promoter excludes all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage in relation to or resulting from the Offer.
15. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes, modifies any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
16. Participation in this Offer shall be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
17. The Promoter collects personal information to conduct the Offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Membership is conditional on providing this information. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
18. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without notice.
19. Additional Offer:
a. the Additional Offer will commence at 12:00am AEDT on 29 November 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 2 December 2024 (“Additional Offer Period”);
b. if an Eligible Member joins online within the Additional Offer Period and takes out an Eligible Product, they will receive the Offer Value and the following in addition to the standard Offer;
1. For residents of Tasmania – A $100 IGA Gift Card
2. For residents of Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria or Western Australia – A $100 Eftpos Gift card.
c. fulfilment of the Gift Card will occur 60 days after an Eligible member has held an Eligible Product for 30 days from the effective date of the policy.
d. the Gift Card will be mailed via registered post to the address on file for the policyholder;
e. the Promoter will not replace a Gift Card that has been lost, stolen or expired;
f. the Gift Card is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash;
g. the use of Gift Card will be subject to the IGA Physical Gift Card Terms and Conditions and the Eftpos Gift Card Terms and Conditions, for which the Promoter has no control over; and
h. all other terms and conditions of the Offer apply.
