Launceston wellness hub FAQs

Launceston wellness hub FAQs

When is the new building expected to be opened?

The new St Lukes Launceston building will open to the public on Monday, July 22nd. This includes our ground floor wellness hub, featuring a Customer Care Centre team, Health Navigators, an events space, café, children’s playground and St Lukes new Dental Practice.

What is the new address?

From July 22nd, you’ll find our Launceston team all under one roof at 93 Cimitiere Street, Launceston.

Is it just for St Lukes members?

Our new environment will have improved customer care capabilities, but will also provide physical opportunities for our members and the general public to become involved with improving their health. We want to empower people with the knowledge they need and motivate Tasmanians in new and different ways to take control of their own health and wellbeing. Various health initiatives and events (such as yoga, baby first aid) will be arranged on a regular basis (some free and some paid) and advertised through our website and social media.

What are some of the services I can expect from St Lukes Launceston?

Health Navigation: A new initiative for Launceston which will provide information and guidance on different medical journeys and treatments available to members and the public. This service aims to provide all Tasmanians with assistance in finding the health services they require.

Dental Practice:  Good oral health is so important to our overall health and wellbeing. That’s why we’ve rolled up our sleeves to help, because we believe all Tasmanians have a fundamental right to good oral health. The new St Lukes dental practice will be offering better access to dental services for St Lukes members and the wider Tasmanian community from July 22nd.

Events: We will host and facilitate a range of events at our new wellness hub, for both our members and the community to attend. These will be centred around nutrition, movement and connection, as we work with like-minded organisations to develop programs in the centre of Launceston. Keep up to date via stlukes.com.au. If you are interested in working with us in our space, get in touch at events@stlukes.com.au.
