Phillip is responsible for the finance function including strategic and commercial advice on behalf of the fund. Phillip also assists the Board by undertaking the Company Secretary role ensuring compliance with the fund rules and associated Acts. Phillip previously worked with KPMG in Tasmania for 23 years, specialising in management accounting including management report development that includes enhancing current accounting software to produce meaningful management reports, budget projections, strategic advice etc. Phillip is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia.

Darren has worked with St.LukesHealth for over 20 years, starting in the area of finance before moving to analytics. He now leads the operational team at St.LukesHealth, ensuring that the fund remains competitive while meeting the reporting requirements as an APRA-regulated organisation. At an industry level, Darren has held committee positions with Private Healthcare Australia and within St.LukesHealth where he has helped establish high-level sponsorship with Cycling Tasmania. Darren also established the fund’s staff charity Foundation33 and led this for 10 years. During this time, the charity raised almost $200,000 for the community.

He is also a member of the Private Healthcare Australia’s “eHealth” committee.

As Executive Manager People and Culture, Barbara designs and delivers workforce strategies across the multi-disciplinary functions of the organisation, underpinned by demonstrated experience in developing workforce plans and capability frameworks. Her previous experience in human resources with more than 20 years in the aged care sector and as a Senior Advisor with KPMG, has given Barbara the skills and knowledge to motivate the workforce towards a continuous learning culture which results in high performing teams. As a member of the Executive team, Barbara brings a ‘workforce’ focus and ensures our people are well equipped to meet the needs of our members to help them stay healthy, get well and live better lives and deliver peace of mind. She is a member of AHRI and Institute of Leaders and Managers.

With her extensive experience in risk management leadership roles in APRA regulated entities including financial services and superannuation over the past 18 years, Nina is fervently committed to embedding value-added risk management and compliance strategies throughout St.LukesHealth and fostering a strong risk and compliance culture at all levels within the business.

Ben joined St.LukesHealth in April 2020 as Chief Marketing Officer to lead the Brand and Communications team, working with a talented team to deliver all marketing, brand, communications and community engagement.
While Ben has lived and worked in locations around Australia and the world, he returned to Tasmania and brings 15 years of experience in brand development, strategy and leadership.
With a degree in commerce from the University of Tasmania, Ben is passionate about our state, having helped develop campaigns for iconic Tasmanian institutions including James Boag and Bank of us.
When not at work for St.LukesHealth, Ben can be found pounding the pavement (he likes to run), spending time with his family or sharing his expertise as a board member of Visit Northern Tasmania.
