Canstar’s Health Insurance Awards recognise providers offering outstanding value to Australians, based on the organisation’s Star Ratings system. The ratings are designed to simplify the health insurance search, offering a shortlist of products that have been expertly assessed and ranked.
Canstar assesses hospital-only, extras-only, and combined hospital and extras and take into account factors like life stage, family structure, and level of coverage. In 2024, they evaluated over 30 health insurance providers.
The judges commended St Lukes for standing out once again for offering hospital policies with exceptional value in Tasmania. Canstar said St Lukes’ demonstrated strong performance across various life stages, including young, established and mature age profiles, providing competitive policies for each, which enables consumers to find the right balance of cost and coverage to suit their needs.
