Megan Fontana – Oral Health Therapist
Megan grew up in the outer southwest suburbs of Sydney where she completed her Dental Assisting Cert III at the Sydney Dental Hospital. After moving to the NSW Riverina region in 2002 Megan went on to complete her Bachelor of Oral Health at Charles Sturt University in 2012.
Throughout Megans’ dental career she has worked in a range of dental settings. Both public and private clinics and more recently in Tasmania for a charitable organisation visiting rural schools in a mobile dental setting. During this position she acquired a truck license to move the Mobile Dental Unit from school to school.
No matter where, Megan enjoys helping patients connect their oral health with their overall general health and wellbeing and loves to work at breaking down the dental fear and anxiety barriers with people of all ages. Providing dental check-ups, x-rays, cleans (above and below the gums), fillings and extraction of baby teeth.
Megan believes that prevention is far superior to a cure and has a focus on early intervention and prevention, working closely with patients and parents to ensure optimal oral health.
