Terms and Conditions – Join combined hospital and extras and receive the waiver of the 2, 3 and 6 month waiting periods on extras cover.

1. These terms and conditions apply to the Promotion which is “Join combined hospital and extras and receive the waiver of the 2, 3 and 6 month waiting periods on extras cover.” 
2. The Promotion commences at 12:00am AEDT on 1/05/2022 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 31/05/2022 (“Promotion Period”).
3. The Promotion is Eligible members who join a combined hospital and extras cover with a join effective date during the Promotion Period receive the waiver of the 2, 3 and 6 month waiting periods on Extras cover.  Extras waiting periods greater than 6 months still apply. All hospital waiting periods still apply.
4. Where an Eligible member transfers from another health insure any annual limits used with the previous insurer may be deducted from your available limits.
5. Eligible member means either:
   1. A new St.LukesHealth member who:
      1. takes out an eligible St.LukesHealth hospital and extras cover with a start date that falls during the Promotion Period; and
      2. is an Australian Resident.
   2. An existing St.LukesHealth member who:
      1. Upgrades their existing St.LukesHealth cover in at least one of the following ways:
         1. Upgrade an existing single hospital and extras cover to a family hospital and extras cover by adding a new partner/spouse.  Promotion applies to the new partner/spouse only;
         2. Upgrade an existing single hospital and extras cover to a single parent (family) hospital and extras cover by adding a dependant.  Promotion applies to one dependant only;
         3. Upgrade an existing hospital only cover to a combined hospital and extras cover by adding extras cover.  Promotion applies to the extras cover only; or
      2. The Start Date of the upgrade falls during the Promotion Period; and
      3. Is an Australian Resident.
6. The Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer. 
7. Employees of the Promoter are not eligible for the Promotion, this includes adding a partner/spouse or dependant to an Employees cover.
8. Employees of Salveo Healthcare Limited (ACN 645 287 583) are not eligible for the Promotion, this includes adding a partner/spouse or dependant to an Employees cover.
9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify an individual’s eligibility for the promotion (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to determine an individual or individuals is not eligible for the promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
10. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the competition and/or its prizes except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
11. Acceptance of the Promotion offer shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
12. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of the Promotion. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or referrals or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition. If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
