Well…well…well… Tasmanian not-for profit St.LukesHealth back in the paddock

Tasmania’s not-for-profit health insurer, St.LukesHealth will pull on the boots and trek to the Agfest paddock for this year’s premium agricultural event.

From May 5 to 8, the St.LukesHealth team can be found at Site 607 with a special offer to those who sign up to health insurance during the four days – an offer only available to Agfest attendees.

For those who join, switch, or upgrade to Combined Hospital and Extras at Agfest, we will offer one month free plus the waiver of the 2,3 and 6 month waiting periods^ on Extras. And as a bonus, these members will also go into the draw to win a $500 fuel or grocery voucher.

St.LukesHealth Chief Operating Officer Darren Harris said the St.LukesHealth team had always enjoyed attending Agfest and meeting people from all corners of Tasmania and beyond.

“As a Tasmanian not-for-profit health insurer, there are many synergies between St.LukesHealth and the Agfest ethos,” Mr Harris said.

“Firstly, Agfest continues to be a not-for-profit event with all income generated reinvested into the Quercus Rural Youth Park site.

“As a member-centric organisation, St.LukesHealth does the same, with 93 cents of every contribution dollar invested by members distributed back into benefits that help them stay healthy, get well or live better with illness.

“And like St.LukesHealth, Agfest has a passion for supporting the Tasmanian community to thrive and grow now and into the future.

“Our history with Agfest goes back over many years and we are proud to continue to support Rural Youth Tasmania with this wonderful initiative that puts rural Tasmania on the map.”

With a passion for supporting the state’s new COVID-19 protocols, the St.LukesHealth tent will look a little different this year.

“We encourage our members and prospective members to come and share their health journey with us, whether it be how St.LukesHealth has assisted them or how we could assist them in the future,” Mr Harris said.

“We are extremely excited to be back out in the paddock at this year’s Agfest and look forward to seeing you all soon.”
