How technology lets you take control of your health

At St.LukesHealth, we understand that not all business can occur between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Combined with the challenges 2020 has thrown into the mix with the Coronavirus pandemic, it is important that people can stay up to date remotely without potentially putting their health at risk. That is why we have invested in digital technologies that enable you to connect with us from the comfort of your own home.

There are many ways St.LukesHealth members can stay up to date with their policy or gain a better understanding of how private health insurance works.

The St.LukesHealth website is your one-stop destination for information regarding your private health insurance. If you want to check out the range of St.LukesHealth products available to ensure you are receiving the best cover for your lifestyle or financial needs, this is the place to do it.

St.LukesHealth will soon introduce a new-look and easier to use tool to help you with this decision making. On October 28, you will notice our website will have a cover comparison and selector tool that enables you to compare products side-by-side.

In 2019, St.LukesHealth unveiled Australia’s most innovative personal health app to members. Snug is a personal health record created out of the need for people to easily bring together and manage their health and fitness information in once place. Best of all, Snug is free to download and use for all St.LukesHealth members.

Snug can be used by parents looking to develop a life-long health record for their child from birth that includes immunisations, medications, allergies and developmental milestones. The app can help those living with chronic illness to manage medication and keep track of readings, while carers – with your permission – can view up-to-date medical information.

For more information, visit, or to download the app, search Snug on your phone’s app store.

St.LukesHealth Connect
St.LukesHealth Connect was recently launched, allowing members to take control of their private health insurance. Connect replaces the former member portal Online Member Services so, if you haven’t already, you will need to re-register for the service.

St.LukesHealth Connect gives you the opportunity to check and update your details online and on your phone through the app. Some of the functions you can use include keeping track of your benefit limits, claiming on the go, view your payment details, make a payment, as well as update your personal information or add a child to your policy. For more information, click here.

St.LukesHealth encourages its members to sign up for digital communication. We understand that you want important information straight to your inbox as soon as it happens. Our Vital Signs and EasyHealth newsletters can keep you abreast in this space, while consenting to receive your private health insurance information via email ensures that your post never goes missing… just ensure you enter your correct email address!
The Coronavirus pandemic demonstrated that we sometimes need to think outside the square when it comes to delivering you with value on your health journey. St.LukesHealth has supported members by introducing:

Benefits for Telehealth
For those who are unable to make face-to-face appointments with their health provider, St.LukesHealth has introduced benefits for telehealth consultations for a range of  modalities to ensure continuation in your care.

This includes support for clinical psychology and counselling as well as physiotherapy, dietetics, speech therapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and exercise physiology.

Nourish Baby Program
Many hospitals around the country have been unable to offer face-to-face antenatal classes. St.LukesHealth has stepped in to provide the Nourish Baby Portal for our expectant parents where they can learn about their options and choices for care through to labour, developmental milestones and what to expect in the toddler years. To complement this, we have also published the St.LukesHealth guide to pregnancy to help on this journey.
